Shape first

Every cut starts with a consultation: your hair, your crown, your daily routine — and how much styling you actually want to do in the morning. Then we cut with structure, so the shape grows out without collapsing. Roy Sutton learned that idea at Vidal Sassoon in London, where he worked as Artistic Director; in Eppendorf it has been the studio's craft for more than 30 years, and today his daughter Ivy Sutton leads the team.

Women, men — and every age

Layers, a bob, a pixie or a classic short cut: we cut what suits you, not what's trending. Men don't get a ten-minute run-through here but the same attention to shape and advice. Children are welcome too, first haircut included. Fringes can be trimmed separately between appointments.

Common questions

Do I need to book, or can I just walk in?
You're welcome to walk in at Hegestraße 29 — but it's best to message us on WhatsApp or call before you set off. On a fully booked day a cut without notice can be difficult; with a quick message you avoid waiting. We can't take bookings by email.

Can I explain what I want in English?
Yes. The whole team speaks English, Ivy also speaks Spanish, and the consultation at the start of every appointment is in your language — bring a photo if that's easier than words. You won't have to guess whether we understood you.

What does a haircut cost?
A cut starts at €85 (short) or €98 (long), including consultation, wash, care and blow-dry. A wash and blow-dry without a cut starts at €35. These are starting prices and differ per artist — we confirm the exact price in your consultation, before we start.

How long does a haircut take, and how often do I need one?
Plan for 60–90 minutes depending on your hair length — we don't rush anyone through. And you'll probably need us less often than you think: a cut with a proper shape doesn't need trimming every six weeks. Short cuts every 4–6 weeks, a bob every 6–10, long hair every 10–16 — guidelines, not a sales rule.
